Volker Fuchs was born on 29 February 1976 in Waidhofen/Thaya and completed his education in 1995 at the TGM Vienna (HTL) specializing in communications technology and biomedicine. Volker Fuchs joined the family business TEST-FUCHS when he was only 19 years old. Until today, he successfully manages the company in 3rd generation.

TEST-FUCHS is one of the world’s leading companies in the field of testing equipment for the aerospace industry as well as for the development and manufacture of ground support equipment for civil and military aviation with subsidiaries in eight countries. Other pillars of the innovative family business in Groß-Siegharts are the manufacture and maintenance of flying components and the production of cryogenic valves.

In addition to his entrepreneurial activities, Volker Fuchs is a passionate pilot himself. Furthermore, he is also involved in other areas to achieve progress in the aviation industry. He was a member of the Executive Board of the Austrian Aeronautics Industries Group and Chairman of the ARGE „Industrielle Kooperation“ of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber until 2024.
