Christoph Ludwig was born in Graz on January 28, 1974. After studying business administration and working in the private sector for several years, he joined the political office in the economic department in 2002, taking over as head in 2012. In 2019 Ludwig became managing director of the Steirische Wirtschaftsförderung SFG. He has in-depth knowledge and experience in strategic economic and industrial policy, and an excellent network of key players in business and science up to EU level.
