- The Graz business location is the global center of competence within Siemens Mobility for the development and manufacturing of high-quality bogies for all railway vehicles (trams, metros, trainsets, high-speed trains and locomotives) and pantographs.
- The factory combines global research, development, production and support for the marketing of bogies, their subsystems (e.g. bogie-side brake equipment) and technologies for bogies (e.g. bogie diagnostics and monitoring and axles).
- As a developer and manufacturer of high-tech bogies, it is therefore a focal point for the manufacturing of Siemens railway vehicles and a main partner of the international railway industry.
- More than 270 engineering experts design and develop tomorrow’s high-tech solutions here today.
- The bogie significantly contributes to the running safety (stability, derailment protection), increases running comfort and allows for reduced noise emissions as well as compliant structure gauges.
- Decades of experience, a close cooperation with the Graz Technical University and utilization of the latest technology standards guarantees an optimal and continuously verifiable quality of the final products.

- Siemens Mobility Graz is continuously investing into the modernization of state of the art equipment and tooling for production and recently opened a new Engineering test centre for bogie component testing.
